Ash Wednesday Service and Imposition of Ashes, March 6th

Beginning Mar 13th
Lenten Taizé and Prayer Service with Soup Supper: Taizé and Prayer Service starts at 6:00 p.m. with Soup Supper afterward.
Taizé is a form of Christian meditative singing that has been created in the Taizé community in France. A Taize´ service is a beautiful and reflective form of worship for our Lenten season.  Compline is the last Daily Office of the day in the Anglican tradition and in our Book of Common Prayer.  it is a quiet, prayer-filled way to honor the passing of the evening hours and the completion of the working day.  All services will be held in the church sanctuary. Please sign up in the parish hall or let Chris know if you can make soup or bring bread for any of these evenings.

Interfaith Outreach
Thank you for the abundance of sheets that were given. We are now collecting hangers in batches of ten. Please twist tie or rubber band or buy them in tens and leave them in the box in the parish hall. Thanks again for the generous amount of help we have given to those in need.

Blessings on the first Sunday of every month for Birthdays, Anniversaries and Travelers. Rev. Kate offers these during the 8:30 and 10:30 services for all those who have birthdays, anniversaries and/or are traveling during the coming month as a new way to honor and celebrate the significant life transitions of our parishioners.

Gateway House Quarterly Meal
The Gateway House is a program that provides housing for adult men recovering from chemical dependency. Men live in 2 or 3 bedroom apartments in the Gateway House as they transition into a chemical free life. Men who stay at the Gateway House are expected to get full time jobs, attend AA meetings on site and follow house rules (curfews and program services). Meals are provided each evening by local church groups.
We provided our first meal in February and will be serving them again in May. We will need help with preparing food, serving the food and interacting with the residents.  If you are interested in helping with this outreach program, please contact the office.
