Outreach News

Interfaith Outreach Ministry - Linen Donations Needed
For January and February, we will be collecting linens for our partnership with Interfaith Outreach Association.  Please donate new (in package) or gently used clean sheets (queen, full or twin - no king sized, please), pillowcases and towels for families who have lost their homes and are rebuilding. Sheets and pillowcases should be folded and clearly labeled with size and in sets if appropriate.  We have a bin in the Parish Hall for the donations.

A new outreach program in February!
The Gateway House is a program the provides housing for adult men recovering from chemical dependency. Men live in 2 or 3 bedroom apartments in the Gateway House as they transition into a chemical free life. Men who stay at the Gateway House are expected to get full time jobs, attend AA meetings on site and follow house rules (curfews and program services). Meals are provided each evening by local church groups. We will be providing meals 4 times a year. We will need help with preparing food, serving the food and interacting with the residents.  If you are interested in helping with this outreach program, please contact the office. We will need approximately 5 people to help with making the meal (recipes provided) and 5 people to help serve.
Our first date will be in February. More information coming soon!
