July, 2017…Summer at last!

Sundays of Summer Service Schedule

Communion Rail Kneelers

 - Please be aware that we have taken one damaged kneeler (at the rail) out of service, and the others are also endangered. For the foreseeable future, for comfort you may wish to stand where the kneeler is missing, and even at the others. We ask that parents guide their young children not to stand on the kneelers. Thanks.

Choir Rehearsal Summer Break

Tuesday choir rehearsal (5:30-7pm) is suspended until after Labor Day. Sunday morning choir rehearsal continues at 9:30 a.m.

Coffee Hour Hosts Needed

A sign-up sheet for weekly Coffee Hour is posted on the parish hall bulletin board, and provision may be as modest or elaborate as you wish to make it.  If you have questions about finding your way around the parish kitchen, contact Linda Thomas, 540.586.0285.

Men of St. Stephen’s, You’re Invited!

The men of St. Stephen’s are invited (and encouraged!) to join the men of Mercy Presbyterian for “Men’s Breakfast” meetings here in our parish hall on Saturdays (September 16, December 2, March 3 and May 19, from 8-10am).  Put the dates on your calendar & come out for a good morning of breakfast, worship, and fellowship

2017 Graduates

This season, we celebrate graduates among our parish family.  We offer special prayers as they cross this important milestone, give thanks, celebrate, and ask God’s blessing on their lives.  If you have a graduate in your family and would like to share the good news with the parish, email the church office.

Congratulations Krista, Madeline,  Penelope, Elizabeth, and all other graduates this season!
