Our Church Staff

fr-brad Fr. R. Bradley Laycock, Interim Rector: Brad is a graduate of Dartmouth College and earned an MBA at Bowling Green State University.  He spent more than twenty years working for major banks as a Commercial Lending Officer in Ohio and New York then some 6 years as a business consultant.  Fr. Brad entered ministry in 1993 and was initially ordained as a United Methodist.  He married Letitia, also an ordained Methodist, and they served churches in Upstate New York and Louisiana.  They were both ordained as Episcopal priests in 1999.  He did his cure in Philadelphia and was Rector of a church on Maryland’s Eastern Shore for five years before entering Interim Ministry.  He came to Roanoke, Virginia in 2006 to serve as Interim (later Priest-in-Charge) at St. Paul’s, Salem.  He retired in 2011 and had been doing Sunday supply, before joining St. Stephen’s as Interim Rector.

chris-ken Chris O'Grady Frank, Parish Secretary: Chris has been our parish secretary for over 15 years, she knows the "ins & outs" of Saint Stephen's! Chris and husband Ken are both active in the church with Ken providing his vocal and guitar talents to our music ministry. Ken & Chris are Blessed with three daughters, Jenifer, Molly & Hannah. Chris is available in the office from 9:00am until 12:00 Noon Tuesday thru Thursday and is able to provide any information you need about Saint Stephen's. Call the office @, 434-525-5511.
