Hurricane Relief

Continue to pray for the people of Texas as they begin the long process of recovery.  And please consider donating to the Episcopal Diocese of Texas and their relief efforts, or to Episcopal Relief & Development (see insert). Donations may be made by check to St. Stephen’s with “Diocese of Texas” or “ER&D” in the memo line or, if cash, in an envelope with the designation “Hurricane Relief—Diocese of Texas” or “Hurricane Relief—ER&D”.

Nursery Attendant Needed

We appreciate Pam Hicks filling in as our nursery caregiver, temporarily.  If you know someone who may be interested in serving year-round in our parish nursery on Sunday mornings from 9:30am-11:30am, please contact Fr. Brad.

Adult Forum

In a few weeks we’ll begin an Adult Forum series on Being Mortal: Medicine and What Matters in the End by Atul Gawand.  Watch the calendar for series start-date, and please consider getting a copy and starting to read it (paperback is $10 on Amazon).

Communion Rail Kneelers

Please be aware that we have taken one damaged kneeler (at the rail) out of service, and the others are also endangered. For the foreseeable future, for comfort you may wish to stand where the kneeler is missing, and even at the others. We ask that parents guide their young children not to stand on the kneelers. Thanks.
